what thrall is:

Thrall Visuals is light projection in live performance, by Scott Davey. Visuals are computer-generated, or modified. Styles range from rapid, hard edged digital, to San Francisco dancehall psychedelic, to abstract and figurative art. Or,"from the purely non-objective to the starkly representational" (Thomas Wilfred).

equipment:

Currently, our own projector is a Kodak DP1100, running from a Macintosh G4 laptop, under Midi control. Larger projection systems are available.

software:

Though various soft and hardwares are involved in image production, we currently rely upon Isadora for live performance. Many of our abstract images and animations were created in AMPro, by U&I Software.

past shows include:

111 Minna, Sixteenth Note, Great American Music Hall, Fort Mason, Badlands Gallery, On Broadway, 21 Grand, Voodoo Lounge, Galaxy Club, Il Pirata, Luggage Store, Noe Valley Ministry....
